Kim Torres is a Fla. Supreme Certified mediator in the areas of Family, Circuit Civil and Appellate. She has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1985 and has practiced exclusively as a Mediator for more than 20 years. In addition to running her private mediation practice, Kim is actively involved with Civil and Family Mediation with the courts in Brevard County. In recognition of her professionalism and commitment in this county, she has been previously honored as the Circuit Civil Mediator of the Year.
Kim a law graduate of Florida State University and a member of the Florida Bar and currently holds memberships with the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators, the Brevard County Bar Association and the Brevard Association of Women Lawyers.
Kim previously served for several years on the Board of the Family Counseling Center of Brevard, and is a member of the elite group of Florida Circuit Civil Mediators and the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. Kim focuses on the human side of disputes and believes in allowing individuals to take ownership of the problem. Kim is known for her persistence, professionalism and calming demeanor.
