Standard Rate
$350
/ hour
Two-hour minimum, shared equally by the parties.
County Court Matters
$500
flat minimum
For matters under $6,000 in dispute: two hours, then $350 per hour in 15-minute increments.
Payment Plan
Ask for a schedule
Half the minimum may be paid two weeks before the session, with the balance due on the day of mediation. Ask about a custom schedule based on your pay cycle.
When one party will not pay
The requesting party may offer to pay the full cost to make a meeting possible, or pay the first two hours. If more time is needed, the parties can pause about 30 minutes before the scheduled end to assess progress and discuss sharing any additional time.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations received at least 48 hours in advance do not incur a fee. A cancellation within 48 hours is subject to a $700 fee (two hours of service). The cancelling party is responsible unless the parties make other arrangements. Scheduled mediations should be cancelled or rescheduled only with both parties' agreement.
Scheduling
Torres Mediation can usually meet with parties within one week of contact when both parties are ready to proceed. When a schedule opening is available, mediation may be arranged within two days.

Virtual Mediation
Mediations are conducted virtually for ease in scheduling. All you need is a smartphone or laptop and a private space. Zoom allows participants to join from separate locations, meet privately with an attorney or other approved participant, take breaks, and review or edit shared documents together.
Virtual mediation can reduce travel, scheduling pressure, and tension between participants. If you are new to Zoom, ask Torres Mediation for a trial run before your session so you can feel comfortable connecting. Parties may also request separate Zoom admission and remain separated throughout the mediation.
Ready When You Are
The goal at Torres Mediation is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Schedule a date, ask a question, or request an invoice whenever you are ready.
